Artisan Code of Conduct

1

Diversity and Inclusion

Make sure everyone feels safe. If preferred pronouns are stated, please use them. Avoid speaking on behalf of others, unless it is requested. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, sexual orientation, gender, ability, religion or identity will be reported.

2

Cooperation and Kindness

We’re all in this together to create a welcoming, educational environment. Keep posts and comments on-topic and professional. When sharing ideas, determine whether the student is looking for input. Dialogue is encouraged, but unsolicited or unqualified advice should be avoided. Be compassionate.

3

No Poaching, Promotions or Spam

Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion or third party references must be pre-approved by teacher. Spam, multi-level marketing or poaching member information is prohibited and will be grounds for immediate removal as a violation of our policies. Students who employ this practice will forfeit their class fees and not receive a refund.

4

Respect Everyone’s Privacy

Being part of this group implies open minds which requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group.
